A memorial service will be at 1pm Saturday, Oct. 19, 2002, in St Timothy Lutheran Church in Portland for Michael K. "Mike" Strutz, who died Oct. 13 at age 58.
Mr. Strutz was born Sept. 27, 1944, in Portland, where he lived all his life. He graduated from David Douglas High School and was a salesman for Westport Supply for 20 years. In 1966, he married Kathie Miniutti.
Survivors include his wife; daughter, Julie Wayt; son, Jeff; parents, Maxwell and Velma; brothers, Gordon A and Thomas; sister, Maxine Markwart; and four grandchildren.
