Dear Leslie,
Welcome
to the first Issue of the Oregon Dry Cleaners
Association Electronic Newsletter. We are
switching to this format to better communicate
with you. We will be able to send out more
newsletters to keep you updated in a timely
manner.
The awards banquet was
held on Saturday evening complete with
table top and door prizes. The theme
of this years prizes was practicality,
and more specifically tools (much to
the dismay of certain female attendees).
The thought was you can always use extra
tools around a Dry Cleaning plant and
this would be something everyone could
use. If this sounds like I am defending
these gifts because I picked them out,
your right - I am and I did. The grand
prize winners this year were Dennis
and Marlys Peterson, newly elected directors
of District 5. They won the Mondo Huge
Tool Set that was the envy of all attendees.
Sunday at the convention
brought us the new Officers and Board
Members for 2004. I am proud to present
the following:

their skills during this weekend as
the convention seemed to flow seamlessly.
