October 2005 - Convention Reminder
in this issue
  • Convention October 7-9 Newport Oregon
  • Interesting Links around the web.....

  • Greetings!

Convention is less than 2 weeks away. Your convention committee has devoted lots of time to putting together another great convention. Registrations have been coming in steadily, and I for one am really excited about attending. Each year I get something really valuable from convention whether it's something learned in one of the seminars, a new product I discover from a vendor, or a tidbit of information I glean from networking with my fellow cleaners.

Owning a Cleaners in rural Oregon, I don't get visited by salesman(I know some of you probably think that is a blessing). So for me this is my one chance every year to visit with the Representatives from companies such as Streets, Adco, Covers Etc. & Kleerwite, and to learn about new equipment from our Oregon Distributors such as Peterson Equipment Company , Taylor Boiler & Supply and this year I'll get a chance to meet up with Capitol City Door from Salem, who can re-do the doors on your building and give it a whole new look. While the Clean Show is always amazing, and the Fabricare Forum is an endless source of information, I really enjoy getting to meet my regional vendors face to face and really having a chance to talk.

We have some dynamic speakers this year, a nice representation of Oregon vendors and a location that couldn't be more stunning. We've planned a fun filled educational weekend, with great food, fun giveaways provided by the ODCA, Cleaners Supply, Westport Supply and Northwest Solvents & Supply, with some breaks so that you can enjoy the coast. So this is your final reminder to get your registration in now for the "cheap" price(before October 1), but don't worry not to leave anyone out you can register at the door if you need to.

I look forward to meeting you at convention!
